Sakura Season in Tokushima: A Photo Gallery

Here is a compilation of sakura we saw in Tokushima as we visited the 23 temples on the Shikoku Henro. We were very fortunate to have been in the prefecture when sakura was in full bloom there given how short-lived sakura blossoms are (once in full bloom, they stay on the branches for about 5 days before they start wilting). Some of these were taken within the temples, and some, we drove by and detoured back to enjoy the beautiful flowers.

Photographs will be added on to this gallery as I process the pictures we took on this vacation by and by. To be honest, I have no idea how large this gallery is going to run. Am hoping I don’t have to split it into two or more posts. Let’s see.
